Phyllis F. DeRose Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, at the age of 97, Phyllis F. DeRose (Orland Park, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Phyllis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Phyllis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph H. DeRose; and her parents, Frances Lasalandra and Peter Lasalandra. She is survived by: her children, Joseph DeRose, Mary Branecki (Rick Lee) and Laura Page (Brian).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alexander Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
