We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024, at the age of 93, Rita I. Winters (Orland Park, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita I. Winters to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Eugene "Gene" Winters; and her parents, Stephen Piernikowski and Mary Piernikowski. She is survived by : her children, Gerianne Horvath (Rich), Laura Davidson (Matt), Pam McLellan (Tim), Tim Winters (Bridie Deiters) and Matt Winters (Sue Del Boccio); her grandchildren, Kevin (Sara), Jeremy (Natalie), Kristen (Kevin), Jordan, Taylor, Wyatt, Lucas and Madison; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brooklyn.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (15050 Wolf Rd, Orland Park, IL 60467).

Interment privateIn lieu of flowers, donations to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 15050 S. Wolf Road, Orland Park, IL 60467 would be appreciated.
