He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his sons, Mark Meier (Carla) and David Meier (Jaime); his grandchildren, Madison and Trevor; his parents, Herman Meier and Dorothy Meier; his brothers, William Meier (Patricia) and Gary Meier (Anita); and his brother-in-law John DeVries (late Carol). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
