He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Zachary and Grace; his mother Janet Unger; his siblings, Susan Dillon-Brown (James), Carl Unger (Julie) and John Unger; his mother-in-law Jacqueline; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Arciszewski (Henry).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (8245 W 111th St, Palos Hills, IL 60465).
