He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Rick and Virginia Rick; and his brother Robert Rick. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rick; his children, Julie Salyer (Curtis), Judi Lant and David Rick (Jessica); his grandchildren, Christopher, Justin Salyer (Anastazia), Alyssa and Alex Lant (Shelbi); his great grandchildren, Braiyden, Levi, Lucas and Matilda; his siblings, Betty Contois (late Art) and Frank (Carolyn); and his brother-in-law Wayne Kozak (Janet).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462).
