She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert A. Schipits; her children, Robert Jr. Schipits (Ann), Joseph Schipits (Maureen), Nancy Fischer (William) and Michael Schipits (Carol); and her grandchildren, Jamie, Julie, Scott, Robert, Katie, Andrea, Michael, Jennifer and Kristen.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Tinley Park (6850 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (17100 69th Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477).
