It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sumithra Dwarakanathan (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Professor P. S. Manisundaram and Anusuya Manisundaram; her spouse Dr. Dwarakanathan; her child Dr. Suri Dwarakanathan; and her grandchildren, Nikhil and Aariya.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
