Viola Verna Meyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 91, Viola Verna Meyer (Orland Park, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clary; her daughter Cathleen Taylor (Johnny); her grandson Keith Meyer; and her parents, Henry Dykstra and Bessie Dykstra.
She is survived by: her son Charles; her grandchildren, Jillian, Kristen, Lauren, Jonathan, Cindy, Melissa, Jacob, Curtis, Lindsey and Katie; her children, Cindy Erdahl (John), Chuck Meyer (Risë) and Clarence Meyer (Kaylene); and her son-in-law Johnny Taylor. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462).
