We announce the death of William Allen Goodwin of Orland Park, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 87. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Goodwin and Hazel Goodwin; his wife Virginia Goodwin; his sister-in-law Denise Faris (late George Sr.); his niece Jennifer Basile (Mark); his nephew George Faris Jr. (Autumn); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mark Basile, Andrew Basile, Allison Basile, Holly Faris and Vivian Faris.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (21457 S Elsner Rd, Frankfort, IL 60423).
