It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alimae G. Persons (Oswego, Illinois), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virla Aiken (Elkins) and Johnnie Aiken; her husband Richard Persons; her brother Myron Aiken; her son-in-law Erik Peterson; and her grandson Justin Persons.
She is survived by: her daughter Alisa Persons; her grandson Evan Peterson of Tallahassee, FL; her son Allen Persons (Amy); her grandchild Ashley Matsen (Jacob); her great grandchild Jonas of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandson Alex Persons (Vivian); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Gavin of Alhambra, CO; her grandson Michael Persons (Akemi) of Montgomery, IL; and her daughter Katrina of Japan.
