With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bridget Agnes Lewis (Oswego, Illinois), who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bridget may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bridget touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Lewis; and her children, Mary Mueller (late Jerry), Francis Lewis (late Susan), James Lewis (Jeanne), Bridget Leske (Timothy) and Eileen Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Risen Lord Catholic Cemetery (1501 Simons Rd, Oswego, IL 60543).
