We announce the death of Darryl Herr of Oswego, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 62. Darryl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Herr and Joyce Herr; and his brother Jeff. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Ashley and Kegan (Tricia); his granddaughters, Kailynn and Jordan; his siblings, Wayne (Carrie), Cathy and Laura (Tom); and his nieces, Rachel (Matthew), Kirstin (Adam) and Whitney. He is also survived by four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bauman Family Funeral Home (5600 US-34, Oswego, IL 60543). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
