Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Orne and Catherine Orne (Cooney); her husband Clare; and her sister-in-law Carol Jacobs (Art). She is survived by: her children, Christopher (Nancy), Steve, Doug, Anne Carr (John) and Jane Ryan (Mark); her grandchildren, Greer Conner (late Justin), Brian Carr (Kelly), Jillian O'Halloran (Tim), Sean Carr (Caitlin), Brett, Claire, Drew, Caitlyn Rice (Marcus) and Brendan Ryan (Emma); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Sydney, Grant, June, Cara, Bennett, Frankie, Kellen, Ségolène and Nathan.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anne Catholic Church (551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543). A burial was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Calvary Catholic Cemetery (4142 Flushing Rd, Flint, MI 48504).
