Evelyn L. Ode Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Evelyn L. Ode of Oswego, Illinois is shared. Evelyn, born on December 17, 1931, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Evelyn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Evelyn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Evelyn is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Evelyn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Ode; her parents, Clarence Johnson and Mary Johnson (Leadbetter); her sister Vivian Haas; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Guffey and Ida White (Harold).

She is survived by: her daughter Lorraine Beasley (Dennis) of Oswego, IL; her granddaughters, Jennifer Beasley (James Daily) of St. Louis, MO and Michelle Beasley of Washington, D. C.; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Ode (Irene) of Earlville, IL and Jim Ode (Paula) of Oswego, IL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
