He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Coons and Frances Marnajean Coons; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Diane L. Coons; his children, Bethany Cato (Derrick) of Wildwood, MO and Jonathan Coons of Glen Carbon, IL.; his siblings, Robert Coons (Jan), Ted Coons (Tina), Deann (Kyle), Dittman, Nancy (Mark), Szachnitowski and Todd Coons; and his grandchildren, Robin Coons, Hannah, Lillian and William Cato.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011).
