She was predeceased by: her father Keith Berger; and her sister Valerie Berger. She is survived by: her mother Laurenda Berger; her sons, Daniel, Matthew (Jules) and Jayson Rischl; her sisters, Vickie Drendel (Jon) and Rennell Brummel; and her nieces and nephews, Amie Kuntz (Donald), Ashley Angell and Austin Brummel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crisis Response International in honor of René's giving spirit.
