Robert M. Weltlich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert M. Weltlich of Oswego, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erhard Ruth and Edna Ruth; and his brothers, William and Paul Weltlich. He is survived by: his wife Gloria R; his sons, Steven Weltlich (Melissa), Michael Weltlich (Shannon), Jason Weltlich (Sarah Charney) and Daniel Weltlich (Sonia); and his grandchildren, River, Sarah, Alyssa and Tiffany. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543).
