He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; and his parents, John Hargarten and Bernice Hargarten. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Zander (Greg), Christopher Hargarten, Suzanne Beste (Jasen), Jeffrey Hargarten and Sarah Bacani (Charles); his grandchildren, Grace, Lilly Zander, Hannah (Drew Willer), Emma, Everett, Hunter Beste, Ella, Lucas, Chloe, Sidney and Olivia Bacani; and his brother Allen Hargarten.
