She is survived by: her children, Silvia Donis (Patty) and Marvin Rivera; her daughter-in-law Olga Rivera; her grandchildren, Alexander Guerrero, Vanessa Rivera, Rebecca Rivera, Brianna Rivera, Adam Rivera and Brandon Valdez; her granddaughter-in-law Rose Valdez; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Rivera and Gabriel Marvin Rivera.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ursday Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (701 S Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60504). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Risen Lord Catholic Cemetery (1501 Simons Rd, Oswego, IL 60543).

Her exceptional skill in knitting enabled her to grace the lives of her loved ones with unique handcrafted treasures, as well as donate warm hats and scarves to those in need, reflecting her heart filled with love and creativity.
