With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Damron of Ottawa, Illinois. Barbara, born on October 7, 1960, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Buckley and Marcella Buckley (Stoudt); her sister Karen; and her in-laws, Bob and Rose Von Ruden.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Damron; her siblings, William, David (Suzy), Ronald (Kathy) and Mary Mann (Glenn); her sister-in-law Debbie Hanson (Tim); and her nieces and nephews, Ryan Mann, Evan Mann, Alex Hansen, Christopher Hansen, Steven Hansen, Rachel Callaway, Becky Callaway and Megan Buckley.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Columba Catholic Church (122 W Washington St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Marquette Academy.
