He is survived by: his father Espiridion Benavides of Aurora; his children, Holly Bolden of Ottawa, Katherine Bolden (Darrius Garcia) of Ottawa and Brian Benavides (Nikki Balentine) of Morris; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Landyn Benavides, Andre Bolden, Nichole Garcia and McKenna Benson; his mother Becky McCoy of Florida; his siblings, Francis Paul Perez of Ottawa, Peter Benavides of Ottawa, Mary Perez of Aurora and Eric Gunderson of Florida; and his stepsisters, Mercedes of Aurora and Grace Perez of Aurora.
Memorials may be made to the Southside Christian Church or the family of Brian Benavides.
