He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Hatland. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Hatland (Valentinsen) of DeKalb; his children, Kristin Hatland of Plano and Jonathan Hatland of Sandwich; his granddaughters, Kenzie Cameron and Chevelle Hatland; and his sister Diane Hatland of Arlington Heights.
