She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Nielsen and Charlotte Nielsen (Mundt); her siblings, Dale Hildebrand, Curt Nielsen and Don Nielsen; and her nephews, Jeffrey Iniguez, Donnie Nielsen and Joshua Iniguez.

She is survived by: her children, Christian Wigsmoen, Heather Wigsmoen (Nelson Rodriguez), David Bappert (Tanya) and Alex Bappert; her grandchildren, Alexis, CJ, Tabitha, Damien, James and Aurora; her great grandchild Kailiel; her sisters, Diane Gross, Donna Iniguez, Connie Racke (Tom) and Debra Leone; and her former husband Martin Bappert.
