It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cletus Otto Koester of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Baldwin, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Koester and Rosa Koester (Rowald); his wife Anita; and his brothers, Victor and Vernon Koester.
He is survived by : his children, Brian Koester (Pamela) of New London, MO, Debra Railsback of Ottawa and Gary Koester (Doreen) of Somonauk; and his sister Leola Sheeler of Sparta. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
