With sadness, we share the passing of Daniel Haws of Ottawa, Illinois. Daniel, born on June 23, 1952, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Daniel for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Haws and Jessie Haws (Parks); and his brothers, Vincent Haws, Jr. and David Haws. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Dunnam (Chad) and Sarah Roseen; his grandson Lee Roseen; and his sister Terry Haws. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Columba Cemetery (1800 N 2990th Rd, Ottawa, IL 61350). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ottawa American Legion (901 La Salle St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
