He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Farmer and Elsie Farmer (Pearson); his sons-in-law, Perry Owens and Robert Blue; and his sister Sandra Pedersen.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Farmer of Ottawa; his children, Gregory Farmer of Ottawa, Amy Swaar (David) of Mason City, Pamela Blue of Seneca, Patricia Owens of Ottawa and Janet Kleinmaier (Bob) of Plainfield; and his stepchildren, Lon Schultheis of Utica and Shelly Savage (Randy) of Marseilles. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 21 1/2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seventh-Day Adventists Church (1429 Catherine St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1439 Catherine St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
