With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Girard of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Stevens and Elsie Stevens (Hart); her husband Alfred Girard Jr.; her daughter Lori Girard; her siblings, JoAnne, Cheryl, Carole, Linda, Jim, Jerry and Ronnie; and her great grandchild David Brasfield.
She is survived by: her children, Al Girard III (Margie), Linda Pierce (Girard), Michelle Mantzke (Girard) and Nicole Bouley (Girard); and her sister Judy Swiskoski (Dale). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ottawa Funeral Home (1111 La Salle St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
