With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna J. Lowe of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shepard and Elsie Shepard (Wahl); her husband Wayne C. "Moe" Lowe; her grandson Michael Noon; and her siblings, Nancy Otto, Judy Fialko, Joyce Natt, Walter "Bud", Marvin, Marshall, Richard "Dick" and Gary "Duke" Shepard.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne C. Lowe Jr. (Tanya) of Granville, Valerie Barnwell (Pat) of Streator, Janet Gelsthorpe (Ray) of Streator, Kathy Bowen (Ed) of Ottawa and Gail Lowe of Ottawa; her sisters, Doris Shepard of Streator and Karen Baker of Tonica; and her sisters-in-law, Barb Lowe of Streator and Marilyn Shepard of Streator. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.
