She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Prater and Randol Prater (Peterson); her significant other James Spence; her husband Arthur Underhill; her stepson Thomas Underhill; her son-in-law Ed Adams; and her siblings, William Prater, Lorraine Mander and Beverly Jovanovich.
She is survived by: her children, James Spence (Sue), Darlene Adams, Kevin Spence, Doreen Dobberstein (Mark) and Denise Myers (William); her stepson Michael Underhill (Linda); and her grandchildren, Shannon Wawerski, Jessica Drake, Tiffany Green, Sara Dobberstein, Jake Dobberstein and Griffin Dobberstein. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ottawa Funeral Home (1111 La Salle St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
