The memory of Eileen Bayer of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Eileen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eileen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Dittmer and Blanche Dittmer (Bultman); and her great grandchild Heather Dawn. She is survived by: her children, Susan Hughes (Patrick), Patrick Bayer (Donna), Matthew Bayer and Lorinda Finch (Michael). She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
