It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Donahue of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Donahue to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jules LeBeau and Josephine LeBeau (Herzog); her husband Thomas Donahue of Mary's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Carl LeBeau, Art LeBeau, Martha Bowers, Delores Stimpert and Shirley Roth.

She is survived by : her children, Julie Pearson (Barry) of New Bern, Gail Lowman (Donald) of Ottawa, Paula Chevalier (Brian) of Dexter and Brian; her grandchildren, Joshua Lowman (Sara), Kyle Lowman (Brandi Peters), Trevor Lowman (Ashley), Josephine Chevalier and Noah Donahue; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Molly, Audrey and Emmy Lowman; and her siblings-in-law, Earl Donahue (Phyllis), Josephine Parrott and Marilyn Donahue. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Ottawa Funeral Home (1111 La Salle St, Ottawa, IL 61350). Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (726 W Jefferson St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Columba Cemetery (1800 N 2990th Rd, Ottawa, IL 61350).

Memorials may be directed to the family so a scholarship can be setup at Marquette.
