We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2022, at the age of 94, Ethel Rose (Stortz) Flaa of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Roanoke, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaac Stortz and Susie Stortz (Onnen); and her husband Bill of Ishpeming, MI. She is survived by : her children, Judith Fichera (Frank) of Scottsdale, AZ, Carol Craig (John) of Ottawa, IL and David Flaa (Janet) of Morris, IL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pleasant View Lutheran Home, 505 College Avenue, Ottawa, IL 61350.
