He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smith and Mildred Smith (Murdock); his son Russell "Rusty" Smith; his great grandchild Hope Dimond; and his siblings, Roberta "Sissy" Smith and Tom Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Monn (Thompson); his children, Robin Johnson (Jeff), Lorri Cavell (Roy), Frank Smith Jr., Tracy DeLancy (Brad), Brad Smith (Carol), Darcy Lubanowski (Auggie) and Tiffany Lewis (Rob); his grandchildren, Ashley Rzasa (Mark), Emma Rapp (Joel), Stephanie Ring (Chris), Sara Hoover (Alex), Tess Cavell, Andrew Smith (Lauren), Katie Hobbs (Jason), Russell Smith Jr., Zach Smith, Jess Harmon (Jaden), Mitch DeLancy, Brittany Hackett (Andrew), Samantha Milton (Jason), Cassie Kinkin (Jeremiah), Ali Huhn (John), AJ Lubanowski, Nicholas Lewis (Rachel) and McKenzie Lewis; his great grandchildren, JJ, Jaxon Rzasa, Nora, David Rapp, Skyler, Raine Ring, Aiden Smith, Christian, Able, Kale Hobbs, Millie, Rhett Harmon, Iggy, Emily Hackett, Olivia, Evelyn, Abby, Jake Milton, Loclan and Kellian Kinkin; and his sister-in-law Penny Jones.
