With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heather Atwell of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Heather has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her mother Emily Von Holten (Briar). She is survived by: her husband Todd Atwell; her daughter Ashley Culjan (Chris); her grandchildren, Grant, Brynlee and Ava Culjan; her father Bradd Von Holten; and her brother Sheldon Von Holten. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
