As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Flahaut and Rose Flahaut (Scalarini); and his wife Barbara Hall of Patrick's Church. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columba Cemetery (1800 N 2990th Rd, Ottawa, IL 61350).
