He is survived by: his parents, Catherine Ann Enger of Morris and Mark Charles Backhus of Ottawa; his niece Caelyn; his nephews, Brandon, Tristan and Michael, Jr.; his uncles, John Maddox (Kathy), Tom Sokolinski (Sue), Les Enger (Julie), Tom Enger and Jeff Popidinski (Marquita); and his aunt Lucy Enger.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Bubba's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
