He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Charles Backhus; his grandparents, Les, Mary June Enger, Charles and Ruth Backhus; and his great-aunt Lucy Novotne.
He is survived by: his parents, Catherine Ann Enger of Morris and Mark Charles Backhus of Ottawa; his sibling's children, Caelyn, Brandon, Tristan and Michael, Jr.; his uncles, John Maddox (Kathy), Tom Sokolinski (Sue), Les Enger (Julie), Tom Enger and Jeff Popidinski (Marquita); and his aunt Lucy Enger.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Bubba's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
