We announce the death of John J. Richardson of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Richardson and Elizabeth Richardson (Less); and his sister Sue Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Beth Norsen of Marseilles; his children, Patrick Ricardson (Megan) and Elizabeth Richardson (Richard Buchanan II); his grandchildren, Ellianna, Nora and Maya Richardson; his sister Beth Deluna; his brother-in-law Rob Schmidt; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Norsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seals-Campbell Funeral Home (1009 E Bluff St, Marseilles, IL 61341). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Marseilles United Methodist Church or Pet Project in Ottawa.
