It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stegman of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Stegman and Helen Stegman (Connor); his former wife Mary Lundstrom; his brother Alfred Stegman; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Stegman and Lori Stegman.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ursini; his brother Edward "Mike" Stegman; his children, Johnna Shryack (Curt) and Philip Stegman (Tammy); his stepson Joe Widman (April); his grandchildren, Sara Strong (Joe), Sandy Daggett (Josh), Lucas Svendsen, Lindsay Svendsen, Mariah Hansen (Chris), Josie Stegman, Jenna Stegman, Erin Boe (Aaron) and Wyatt Widman; and his great grandchildren, Abby, Cooper, Josey, Isabella, Max, Jax, Simon and Lucy.
