She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Walling and Louise Walling (Steinbrink); and her husband Charles H. W. "Wayne" Bower. She is survived by: her children, Kim Rice (Ryan) of LeClair, IA and Robert Bower (Crystal) of South Bend, IN; and her grandsons, Heath and Jace Rice.
