It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Rosborough (Ottawa, Illinois), who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gardner and Grace Gardner (Harford); her husband Paul Rosborough; and her granddaughter Amanda Rosborough. She is survived by: her children, Terry Rosborough (Pat) of Bloomington, MN, Donna Simek (Bob) of Elmhurst, IL, Brian Rosborough (Janet) of Ottawa, IL and David Rosborough (Sheila) of Greenwood, SC.; her grandchildren, Jeff Simek (Leslie), Kris Schneider (Mark), Laura Weisz (Jim), Steve Rosborough (Suzanne Pfutzenreuter), Kelly Wuebben (Mat), Caitlin Rosborough, Ben Rosborough (Ashley), Amy Shen (Greg) and Valerie Rosborough; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Claire, Molly Simek, Josh, Tyler, Mason Weisz, Gianna, Charlotte, Cecilia Wuebben, Cal Schneider, Hazel Rosborough, Finnegan, Miles Shen, Riley Rosborough and Lois. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pleasant View (505 College Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders or Pleasant View Lutheran Home.
