She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alawa Gilman and Emma Gilman (Hilea); her husband Richard L. Gedye; her son David Martin; her grandson Jesse Martin; and her siblings, John, Tony Gilman, Jane Kekoolani, Annette Faulkner and Leslie Quel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Beauvais (Kirk) of Honolulu, Denise Hoxie (Ken Nona) of Ottawa, Diane Gedye Carpenter (Tim) of Ottawa and Dawn Gedye of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Jeremy Meyers (Kasondra Evans), Jason Wolfe (Wendy), Timmy Halterman and Desirae Gedye; and her great grandchildren, Sian Martin, Sierra Meyers, Dominique Meyers, Nevaeh Gedye, Carter Wolfe, Channing Wolfe, Mina Pellegrin, Emelie Sedlmayer, Chase Blue, Walker and Bailey Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home (1601 E Norris Dr, Ottawa, IL 61350).
