It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Ahern of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Thorson and Caroline Thorson (Severson); her husband Bob; her daughter Karen Brady; her grandson Stephen Ahern; and her siblings, Betty Jacobson, Helen Nelson, Dean Thorson and Cliff Thorson.
She is survived by: her son R. Kevin Ahern (Rhonda) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Brent Ahern (Jessica Friede) of Ottawa, Alex Ahern (Olivia) of Ottawa, Amy Brady of Marseilles and Andrew Brady (Jordan) of California; her great grandchildren, Briella Ahern, Lenox Vangelisti, Logan Ahern, Autumn Gremel and Isla Brady; and her sister Lois Ann Johnson of Ottawa.
