She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Jones and Artharilla Jones (Edwards). She is survived by: her husband Howard Brauhn; her sons, Jason Brauhn (Brianna) and Joshua Brauhn; her grandchildren, Cohen, Kierra Brauhn and Kourtney Brauhn; her siblings, Charles "Chuck" Jones, Patricia McManimon, Jackie Jones Bailey, Jodie Foster, Raynette Jones and Jill Durant (Steve); her stepmother Jean Jones; Kathy Brauhn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1003 5th St, Mendota, IL 61342).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kay's memory may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
