With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Bruce of Ottawa, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bruce and Virginia Bruce (Clark); and his siblings, Robert, Jeffery, Bryan and Dina Sweger.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Bruce (Sandwich); his children, Cheriese Mickelson (Alan), Dana Sebesta (Jamey) and Brandon Bruce; his grandchildren, Matthew, Connor Mickelson and Brooklynn Sebesta; and his siblings, Thomas, George, Victoria Stritter McVay, Donna O'Donnell, Eric (Tracy), Tracy Ferge, Wendy Grimette, Eugene Vandermeir and Keith Vandermeir.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus (401 W Main St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
