It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Vincent Griffin of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Griffin and Mabel Griffin (Paul); and his siblings, James, Jack, Ruth, Renee and Delores.
He is survived by: his wife Julie K. Griffin of Ottawa; his children, Julie A. Polancic (Robert) of Ottawa and Michael J. Griffin (Marguerite) of Colfax; and his grandchildren, Vanessa Douglas (Matt), Joseph Griffin (Chasity), Melissa Cottrell (Jason), Valerie Contreras (Albert) and Marcus Polancic (Rachael). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
