Neoma Jean Zeilmann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neoma Jean Zeilmann of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Vincent and Myrtle Vincent (Faris); her brother Bill Vincent; her siblings-in-law, Shelva Vincent and John Finnegan; and her nieces, Dena Vincent and Lori Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Paul (Robert), Larry Zeilmann (Deanna), Brian Zeilmann (Cynthia) and Diane Mertel (Jamey); her sister Sandra Finnegan; and her grandchildren, Richard Wilkie (Melissa), Brandy Oppenlander (Edward), Derek Zeilmann, Kayla Roberts (Josh), Matthew Zeilmann, Joshua Zeilmann (Cheyenne), Noah Zeilmann (Maaju), Haley Mertel and Jacey Mertel. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (114 E Jefferson St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
