He was predeceased by : his parent Felipe Perez; his wife Mary; his son Rick Perez; and his siblings, Jesse Ribas, Felicitas Manrriquez, Roberta Salinas, Phillip Perez and Robert Perez.

He is survived by : his daughters, Monica Hall (George) and Laura Loughridge (Steve); his daughter-in-law Lori Perez; his grandchildren, Bob Hall, Jim Hall (Michelle), Carrie Perez-Poundstone (Mike), Allison Perez and Brittany Loughridge (Brad Hall); his great grandchildren, Corey, Emma Hall and Parker Poundstone; and his pet Whitney (Poncho).

Memorials may be directed to the family, St. Columba Building Fund, and Ottawa Friendship House.
