He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Gross and Mabel Gross (Berge); his wife Alice Gutierrez; his children, Michael, Janice and Valerie; and his brothers, Virgil and Lilburn.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Gross (Debby); and his grandsons, Robbie and Jeff Gross.
