He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cupples and Francis Cupples (Conkle); his wife Joan Strange; his children, Robert Cupples Jr. and Jacqueline Cupples; and his siblings, Rita Schaibley, William Cupples and Sherrie McKinley.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Enlow (Parker); his grandchildren, Jaiden Wheeler, Heidi Johnson, Sarah Cupples, Kelli Cupples, Kim Cupples, Emma Enlow and Austin Enlow; his daughter-in-law Deanna Cupples; and his siblings, Beverly Smith and Judy Armstrong (Bob). He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren; his 2 great great grandchildren.
