We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2026, at the age of 73, Robert Parr Hougas of Ottawa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hougas and Margaret Hougas (Parr); and his siblings, Kent Hougas and Marcia Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Deb of Marseilles; his children, Amy Stumpf (Ed) of Ottawa and Rob Hougas of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Alayna, Emma and Ian Stumpf; his siblings, JoEllen McCue and Craig Hougas (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Laura Hougas and Joe Cox. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
